Progress! (and some really, blurry pictures!)

But Hey....the pictures are from my phone so go easy! But....I did it! The closet has been organized, cleaned, put away with room to spare! Hip, Hip, Hooray! Aaahhhh! Sparkly floor.....Aaaahhhhhh! Sweet little carpet that you can actually see!

The Man will be so happy when he gets home and goes to put his work clothes on! He will be able to find his clean blue's!

And other things I checked off my list today....salon for hair 'stuff', return at TJ Maxx, Bank and Grocery Store. Now, It's time to get ready and head to the airport....my Aunt and Uncle are coming ad my dad has NO idea! We will have a weekend at the lake....boat rides, bonfires, volleyball and croquet. I'm ready to bask in family and enjoy the company! Oh, Joy!

This Needs To Get Done TODAY!

Please don't judge me by the pictures that included in this post! But this is what I need to do today! It just seems there is so much else to do. Such as.....Run, Laundry, empty dishwasher, (those of you who have more than 2 people in your house, I know what you are thinking, your thinking, pfft, imagine 4 or 5 or 6 of you, then how much laundry would you have piled up....but i'm just getting used to 2 is my response!) put toaster back into cupboard, make a return to TJ MAXX, deposit check into ATM, respond to work emails, pick up aunt and uncle at airport at 6pm. I have a good book waiting for me to continue reading, it's actually calling my name.....it is gray outside with the threat of rain again in the forecast, the man is all snuggled into bed after a long night of work and it is OH.SO.TEMPTING. to crawl back into bed next to him. Instead, this is what I have to do.......

It has been like this for way to long. It is irritating, disguisting. I can't find half my clothes and the best part, behind this door, lies a clothes basket full of clothes, I am not sure if they are dirty or clean, I am not sure even what's in that clothes basket....it's been there for that long. So dear friends in blogworld, don't judge me. I'm thankful for doors and cupboards! When you come to my house, it's clean and you would never know what is lurking behind all the closed doors. I plan on putting on some pretty awesome music, jamming out and organizing away! Hey, I may even get some errands done, too.

I forgot the Joy!

The Joy.... Having my parents home from oversees to celebrate the 4th and the rest of this awesome summer! This beautiful, sunny, hot day that will be spent at the lake! Being part of a hospital that is not part of the union so I don't have to worry about not collecting a paycheck. My best friend coming home from her family's Florida today after a week away. I miss her something fierce! A beautiful walk this morning to pick up my dry cleaning. Now, if I was really creative I would have pictures for each of these. I will learn. I will be better! I will be more creative in the posts to follow! *Hugs*

Oh My!

So this blog thing apparently hasn't been working out it seems. Life is crazy busy but after this Fourth of July weekend...I will be back! I will start posting again! I'm really not sure if this gets read anyways but It's more for me really than anyone else out there in cyber-world! Have a great Holiday Weekend...Hope your celebrating with loved ones and remembering all of those awesome men and women who are oversees right now fighting so that we can celebrate our independence.
